life has been busy!!

well, not really

so got back from Oakcrest, and then we had youth conference!!

i bruised my tailbone once again. .

and my cuz is getting married!!

wow, life goes by fast

sometimes i wonder what i'm doing with my life, there's only two more weeks of summer, and they are leaving swiftly. time is strange, it slows down when your excited for something to happen, but then when you are dreading a day, it seems to be there imedietly. Like right now. is it really ten to seven?!?!?

i think sometimes we dwell on the past too much, wait for the future to happen and do nothing about helping it happen the way we want, and we take the present for granted.

Then i get thinking. the present is so strange, it has such an odd definition for me

"A moment or period in time perceptible as intermediate between past and future; now"

so when is now? is it just as i'm typing the letter "a" or is it after? does it change with each second of the day? sometimes my brain just looses control on how the world and time work. we can't go back or forward. and the very second we have is gone in an instant. . .

time is just so strange.. . .

So I went to Oakcrest this week, I got the counsler Sunny-D. she was awsome! we did archery, a ropes course, crafts, had many spiritual lessons and then came back today. I had way too much email. and i really need to blog more.

Ok. I haven't been that busy. just to lazy to get on blogger and blog.

so last week was girl's camp (shout of joy) and we did a ton of cool stuff. Such as : boating, tubing, the youth leaders went repelling off a cliff, decorating backpacks, had really good skits, and the best food.
on the down side- it rained every night, and only our tent leaked. since to camp was boat-themed our "ark" turned into the "Titanic", doesn't help that our skit had titanic music in the back round. In the end we were all exhausted on friday, and were ready to go home (especialy me, because I had had to hold on for dear life when we went tubing, and I still got launched off the thing)

so saturday we went to Night at the Museum 2 (was great)

and sunday we went to my aunt's to celebrate birthdays, and i saw my cousins that are here from colorado! (lots of love to them) Then we left and slept over at my grandma's, and my cousin and I started a facebook for me(yes I now have a facebook) which I still don't get, kind of.

yesterday for combined we went swimming. fun, except the clorine tasted really, really bad.

so today I volunteered at the library. I did two things for two hours. I copied, and read while it was copying 150 pages, and copied more pages, and so forth. It was boring, but at the same time really nice. Cuz I got to read, and the noise didn't get to me because it was at this really steady beat.( try it, it's very calming) so at the same time I read off $2 off my little fine.

so now I'm home. uber(haha sarah) tired and want to sleep. . .and read.

For how boring my life is, quite a few funny things happen a day.

Well, a lot of funny things happen to me.

so when I tell myself "I'm going to blog about this!", five minutes later I'm sitting reading, or just completely forget.

So I finally signed up for a time to volenteer at the library, but I forgot to track how long it takes me to get to the library on my bike, so I'll have to just go half an hour before.

I just turned in 7 books at the library, but there was only one hold.

I need to go back soon, or I'm going to get very bored.

So yesterday was Liesl's birthday party!

We really didn't do anything crazy, just hung around like 4 crazy teenage girls, slightly wacko on sugar.

We had this fondu chocolate, and we dipped pieces of cake, banana, strawberries, and cookies in.

Wednesday we had our awards Assembly and I got 5 Wonderful geek awards

That night we went to the Oquirrh mountain Temple, it was beautiful.

school ends next week, summer will finally be here.

The Spring Run

Let's just say that I despise the Spring run, and asthma.

Well, last year I got 335, this year is 223; Which is really good. . .for me.

Later I went to Maddie's and Jadyn's birthday party.

it was a movie party, and we watched Liar Liar, and The Village.

Between the movies they opened presents. The funniest one was when Daniel gave Jadyn a book, and the book had little block cut out of it, and in the block was earrings. Maddie got one too, but there wasn't anything in it but little messages, and Daniel pulled her present out of his pocket.

The guys were kicked out at 11, and we talked and ate chocolate dipped things from the chocolate fountain. i think most of us started to completely fall asleep at 1:30.

so now after jogging 5K and sleeping on the floor, I am so sore, plus cleaning.

Life has been normal lately, that's why I haven't blogged.

Or in other words.

Boring.

This summer I'm going to be obsessed with numb3rs(thank you, Sarah and Patti), and I finally read Fruits Basket 22.

And today in fifth period I spent the time fixing my friends glasses, because a screw came out, so I had fun sticking a make-shift paper screw in the hole, then taping it, while Casey sat around. Partially blind.

I have my Orchestra Concert tomorrow. I really don't want to play.

And for another of my daily rutine, I keep telling myself to read To be a Slave, boring book, basiclly quotes. the unboring part is the monster essay. Which will be very boring. Like the book. B-O-R-I-N-G.

I obviously do not want to read it.

avoided working on project by making Keatley's bed

Saturday was busy!

We had Kara's baby shower(due may 12th)

let's just say that this Lil girl will be well dressed.

The number one favorite dress was the blue striped one with a little orange fish on the corner.

It will go well with the Three tanks of fish that they have in their apartment.

And also,

I finally have a BED!!

After being on the hide-a-bed, the couch, the love seat, and various mattresses, I finally have a bed with a comforter and sheets!

It'll take a while for me to get used to the memory foam, but after i fall asleep, I stay asleep.

Eggs. Eggs are very fun for our family, like pumpkins, we go kinda crazy.

And the dance. It was fun, but I didn't dance with any guys, so Sharly and Candice say I didn't have fun because of that. Oh well.

I really need to get back into the habit of blogging more often, lots of things happen in 24 hours, or more.

So a little less than two weeks ago I got a wonderful thing called carpet.

I'm actually learning to type, I find this as an accomplishment, because I could NOT type two months ago.

In less than three months I will be an aunt. I can't wait to take the title.

I need to start reading from the 30 list more. I have 24 books read, but we're already at week 23. We could say that it caught up with me.

Lately I've been obsessed with boondoggle, and I've been doing some crazy stuff. I'll have to take pictures and show you.

We cleaned today, then went shopping for shoes, we only bought two pairs, one for Keatley, and one for me.

In about four hours, Sharly is going to make me go to a dance, I don't know if I'll survive the night. I was lucky last time, they canceled it.

I've been reading the series by Darren Shan, Cirque Du Freak (I'm on the tenth). Wonderful horror story, and a different kind of vampire, much better. I recommend it to anyone who wants some suspense. (I recently found out it's going to be made into a movie as well.)

Also, even though most of you don't care about my anime freak stuff, Fruits Basket 22 came out Tuesday, my librarian has yet to by it.

And, for you spy adventure people, I found out that there is going to be an Alex Rider 8. I am very very (very times twenty-thousand) excited.

And once more, the forth installment of Fablehaven comes out in ten days.

I've had a bad day.

Why?

well, yesterday I fell at least 6 times in the same spot(in basket ball), thus bruising my tailbone.
And I have discovered that bruising your tailbone really hurts.

and, also in basket ball, I had another little asthma issues.

so this morning i woke up with pain in my stomach, tailbone, and arm(my friend accidentally rammed me into a locker Wednesday).

not a good day.

but, amazingly, going to the golden living center with the young men and woman, getting a shake, and panda express had made my day better.

oh, and I am very, very, very grateful for ibuprofen.

I wanting to blog about something intellectual, but i can never really think of anything when the time comes.

But all I really can say is that my asthma has been acting up lately, with all the smog, pollution, and the fact that we live in a bowl of dirty air, it's no wonder I haven't been able to breath.

A while ago, After the air quality had been Yellow for about 3 weeks, it rained. Hard, and long. so the next day when going to my next period, I said, "doesn't the air taste way better?" Lets just say i got a very strange look from my friend. And the air really taste and smell good.

I think I take my Asthma for granted. i really don't have it as bad as other people,. I can exercise in the cold and arm, though it does make me wheeze. and like today, when I was playing basketball, i sat out half of every quarter(except 1st) and if i sat out for 3 min, i could go in with just as much energy. While others work, then can't go on any more.

I guess I'm lucky in a way.

I have setbacks, but if I work hard, I can overcome them.

so if I want to do track, if I star running a little bit, every day. A little more each day. I'll eventually get better. and I'll go distance without having to use my inhaler(this is one of my goals WAY out there, I am SO bad at distance)

now, to get that tredmil down. . .

Because I was sick on monday, I missed crepes, but i still go tto make them for extra credit!

because i've never seen a crepe being cooked before, my first burned.

my second actcually tasted good.

My third was burned, i ate it with augar anyway, and it was o.k.

Well anyway, I finally figured out why I haven't baby sat in forever!
Two reasons-
1. On the rare occasion I am called, I have something important(like my play)
2. Because the economy is so bad, no one is going out to as many movies, resulting in no need for some one to watch their kids.

Thus resulting in me not making any money, and no fun from playing with one year-olds (and older)

I feel sorry for those of you that have to pay bills.

You would think that the Academic Team would be able to set up their equipment within 10 min. Well you would be wrong. it took us at least 45 to figure that stuff out.

Then we had to clean the team room. which included trying yo get permanent marker off a white board, and stacking desks on top of tables. (Which is kinda scary).

While setting up all the tables and chairs. After we answered some questions, to explain how the rounds 1, 2, and 4 work to the sevy and the round three people
(round 1 is answering and stealing questions, 2 is group questions, 3 is debate, and 4 is FREE FOR ALL, personaly the best round)

I haven't blogged in 4 days- this is my official record (not counting camp) a lot has happen in that time so here it goes!

on Saturday I went to Amber's B-day party, It was great!! singing, cake, soda, oh and I played a Wii for the first time ever!! I loved it!! people were amazed when I told them my family still has a SEGA, which is currently missing. . .

Well, Sunday was kinda horrible, I was marching around the church with Liesl and Sarah, but all the light exercise, Amber's cats, and the now cold weather, started my asthma. So I went home, put my inhaler in my purse, and went back to church in time for the Primary program!!

Monday, I go to school feeling horrible. Got through all my classes, and had play practice. When I got home, We carved pumpkins (we hope they'll last to Halloween). Went to bad, and that's the end of Monday.

Yesterday, I had late rehearsal. But, before that, I had a Wonderful term Geometry test. Boy was I tired when I got home, luckily I had no home work. Oh, and I started wearing my awesome boots at practice, gotta love 'em.

Today was interesting. So I've got a cold and feel really bad, Forward all the way to lunch. where most of the 9th graders have treats made to look like cells for science. So I end up having basically half a small cake, a very good cake, a baked potato, and some ice cream (I think some of the people at the table were amazed I could eat that much), so I end up on a sugar high by 7th period. After school I signed up for academic games, and went to my locker got, my stuff, and 4 pixie sticks from my sevy friend in the locker next to mine. another sugar rush. Well we have play practice, and at intermission we go out side and get some water from a parent's car. When I get into the warm auditorium, the contrast makes it so I can't breath again, and I had left my purse at home accidentally. So after eating some crackers, drinking lots of water, and coughing wheezily I went on stage! And went home exhausted. So now I'm here typing, and now I'm goimg to bed.
